Stop this bloody tax

Texas is one of the 22 states still taxing period products. This discriminatory tax unfairly burdens people with menstrual cycles.

Texas representatives are voting on House Bill 300 to repeal the tax this spring. If Texas repeals it, the other states are likely to follow.

  • 1 in 4 people who menstruate struggle to buy menstrual products.
  • $120M spent annually just on the sales tax of period products.

Periods are taxing enough

Select a state to see what they consider a tax-free necessity.

  • States that tax period products
  • States that don’t tax period products

Seeing red?

Contact a legislative rep to let them know you’re fed up with the tampon tax and want it repealed. Phone calls are the most effective.
